This 5-day tour is designed for the ones who want to visit the most beautiful beaches of South of Albania in just a few days. Drive along the coastline known as the Albanian Riviera, visit Llogara National Park, be amazed by the mesmerizing blue waters of Vlora, Dhermi, Himara, Saranda and Ksamil.

If other participants join this tour, you will be refunded 50% of the single supplement amount and your room occupancy will still be private. We organize small groups up to 8 pax. Our professional tour leader will come and pick you up at your hotel in Tirana. Our main destination for today will be Vlora, where the Adriatic and Ionian Seas meet. The city is known for its balmy year-round temperatures and very little rainfall, making it a popular destination. Vlora was founded in the 6th century BC under the name of Aulona. The city is known as the ‘’City of the Flag’’; the independence of Albania was declared here on the 28th of November 1912. We will visit the Flag’s Square and the Independence Monument. We will then have a walk in Muradie Neighborhood, visit Vlore’s main mosque an Albanian National Monument built in 1537. The Muradie mosque is a stunning Ottoman building which has been well preserved for almost half a millennium.
Our next stop will be “Lungomare”, a promenade by the seaside. Among all the activities to do in Vlora you cannot miss the joys of walking along the seafront of the city. You will have some free time to enjoy the sun surrounded by emerald seas, while on the other side of the street you can have a coffee with a fantastic view of Sazani Island and Karaburun Peninsula. After the coffee break we will drive just few minutes and immediately notice the wild rocky beaches of the Ionian Sea, also known as Albanian Riviera. The Southern Albania is blessed with beautiful beaches lapped by turquoise waters, coastal towns and hidden bays. Free afternoon by the seaside, giving you time to explore the area and taste the delicious seafood cooked by the locals or even to dive in. Overnight near Vlora.
After breakfast we will pass nearby Llogara National Park and drive along the coastline known as the Albanian Riviera, crossing some of the most beautiful beaches of Albania; Palase, Dhermi and Llamani beaches. We will pass some small villages one by one, clinging to rock faces by the seaside, all tumbledown stone walls and narrow pathways, overhung with vines full of grapes, and trees heavy with figs and walnuts. Our first destination will be Dhermi, one of the most famous beaches in Albania. Known for its hidden coves, pebble beaches and crystal-clear water inviting you to dive in. You will have some free time to absorb and store all the sunshine. Our next destination will be Himara town, located next to imposing mountain peaks covered in deep green forests, crystal-clear seas fringed by long white beaches and sparkling springs. You can enjoy a walk by the seaside, fantastically tasty food combining local cuisine and some influence by neighboring Greece. The promenade by the sea side gives you the opportunity to try fresh fruit juice and even shop handmade souvenirs. Overnight near the Albanian Riviera.
After breakfast, get ready to explore the beautiful coastline of The Albanian Riviera. The riviera is known for some of the most famous beaches in Albania, for its hidden coves, pebble beaches and crystal-clear water inviting you to dive in. Your tour leader will drive you towards Borsh, the longest and largest beach in the Ionian Sea (7km-long). Borsh is a quiet coastal village known for olive oil production. The beach is very clean and the water amazingly crystal clear. From the beach you have amazing views at the Ionean Sea, the coastline and the surrounding mountain range. You will have the whole day free to absorb and store all the sunshine. Overnight by the Albanian Riviera
Saranda is considered to be the pearl of the Albanian Riviera, especially during the summer period, when many refer to it as the unofficial capital of Albania. Located in a perfect natural bay of the Ionian Sea with an amazing view of Corfu Island. Saranda is blessed with more than 300 days of sunshine during a year, making it a favourite destination for both local and international tourists. Saranda is known for its rocky beaches, numerous bays, rich flora and fauna, citrus plantations, olive groves and vineyards. The port of Saranda is one of the most important in the southern region of Albania, thus becoming a connecting point with the Mediterranean countries. After exploring the city, have some free time soak up the sun and relax by the rocky and pebble beach of Saranda.
In the afternoon you can have a walk throw the promenade of Saranda, by the Ionian Sea enjoying the view, drink a coffee or have an ice cream by the seaside. Overnight near Albanian Riviera.
Ksmail will be our main destination for today! You will feel like you are exploring some tropical paradise when being on its white sandy beaches with the view of the four islands in-front of the beach. Ksamil is the pearl of the Albanian Riviera and it surely is one of the best beach destinations in Europe. Ksamil is primarily known for its fine sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters. The Albanian Riviera has many pretty beaches; however, this beach gives you that Bora – Bora feeling. We will have some time to dive in and enjoy the turquoise color of the sea and soak up the atmosphere. Our tour leader will come and pick you up in the afternoon so we can start our transfer back to Tirana. This marks the end of this amazing experience. You will return home with a new sense of self excitement to share with those around you.
