After breakfast we will join the walking tour of Split. Known for its Roman architecture, bustling markets, and coastal charm, Split offers an incredible mix of experiences. Our first stop will be Croatia’s most famous landmarks, the Diocletian’s Palace. Built by Roman Emperor Diocletian in the 4th century, the palace is an architectural marvel and a testament to Roman engineering. After exploring the palace, we will walk through the maze of narrow streets of the Old Town. We will wander through the Pazar Market, where locals sell fresh produce, herbs, and crafts. This bustling market is a great place to experience the vibrant atmosphere of Split and interact with the locals. Have the rest of the day free time to explore Split at your own pace. You can relax by the sea or indulge in local cuisine at one of the many restaurants and cafes.
Our next stop will be one of the most breathtaking natural wonders in Europe, Plitvice Lakes National Park. Along the way, enjoy the changing landscapes as we leave the Adriatic coast behind and head into the lush, forested hills. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a lush paradise of 16 terraced lakes connected by waterfalls. We will spend the morning exploring the park’s walking trails, scenic viewpoints, and cascading falls. You will witness crystal-clear turquoise waters, diverse wildlife, and an atmosphere of pure tranquility. Overnight near Plitvice Lakes National Park.
