Itinerary

Tirana – Cape of Rodon – Tirana
Tirana – Cape of Rodon – Tirana

Join us for a full-day escape to one of Albania’s hidden gems — the breathtaking Cape of Rodon. Our tour leader will come and pick you up from your hotel in Tirana early in the morning. Located on a narrow peninsula surrounded by turquoise waters, the Cape of Rodon is the perfect destination for nature lovers. This place is an ideal destination for nature lovers, offering stunning views, beaches and historical sights.
Our first stop is the 15th-century castle built by Albania’s national hero, Skanderbeg. Nestled in the Cape of Rodon, the castle reaches a length of about 400 meters, with round towers all along the perimeter.
As we walk the cape, we’ll encounter bunkers from Albania’s communist era, silent reminders of the country’s unique and isolated past. We will learn about their purpose and the unique history of Albania's isolationist period.
The rest of the day you will have some time to relax along the cape’s white-sand beaches, where you can unwind by the sea, enjoy the peaceful surroundings, or take a short walk through the lush landscape.
After a full day of exploration, we will head back to Tirana in the late afternoon, leaving you with unforgettable memories of this serene and historic part of Albania.
